Aloha, Up for auction from arecent client in Honolulu Hawaii this early 20 th century Chinese hardwood shelf or stand with scholar landscape marble inserts. One of the inserts is round the other one is square. The stand has sagged a bit - when it stands on a flat surface it only stands on three legs – the fourth leg is a ¼ inch off the floor. My client used this stand for the last 60 years and it stood on thicker carpet and when I asked him about the sagging he did not even know about it.
