This is an early 20th c. Syrian jambiya with brass scabbard and pommel. The handgrips are glass with inlaid glass rods to from the designs. The cast scabbard with the Koranic inscription and the end of the scabbard are typical of Syrian manufacture. The overall condition is very good with some polish residues on the brass components and an old crack in the glass grip.
