This auction is for a lovely antique reproduction French BRU doll made by the famous doll artist Neva Wade Garnett in 1972. Neva chose the name Calli Lou as her moniker and signed her dolls using this. She grew up in Emma Clear's workshop and learned her artistry from two of the most talented doll creators of the day, Emma Clear and her mother Clair Wade.This 21" doll has a bisque head and composition body but no clothes; it is ready to be dressed. It has a beautiful human hair wig, matching eyebrows, and gorgeous blue eyes. As expected from this artist, the coloring and artistry is near perfect. The buyer will have the fun of adding earrings, underclothing, shoes, and a beautiful French style dress. What fun! This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors of any kind. It will be shipped for a flat rate of $18 to its new home. Happy collecting!
