Handwritten recipes (plus a few typed recipe cards and photocopied handwritten recipes) that I am estimating go the range from the late 1950s through probably the 1980s. These came from one estate. Lots of recipe cards, but also recipes written in a composition notebook, old ledger, on the backs of envelopes, on sheets of paper, etc. A wide variety!A quick count: A bit more than 220 handwritten recipes 40 or so typed cards and photocopied handwritten recipes.Old ledger book has about 14 pages of handwritten recipes - some pages have been torn from the book and most pages are blankComposition book (Vanity Fair) has 37 pages of handwritten recipes, the first of which is saccarin (sic) pickles which included 10 saccharine tabletsRecipes include the normal cakes, cookies, main and side dishes, etc. A few highlights: Cough syrup which includes whiskey or brandy; Grandma's frog egg pudding (tapioca); a recipe to get rid of cabbage worms in the garden; pierogi, mince meat, Ma's oysters; fruitcake; Mother gyore's cabbage; 3 day jerk beef; feather cake; ring type bologna; grandmother snyder's berry steam pudding; corn flake macaroons, and so much more.There's also a handmade cardboard cover that was with the recipes with Mother from Paul 1950 written inside.Shows some age and wear including some staining, creasing, a bit of writing on the
