223 antique flat front gilt buttons from the early 1800s through the 1900s. A few have slightly rounded/domed tops. The sizes range from 7/16" to 1/14" in diameter. The largest have backmarks: WBC London, Plated, (Crown) Best Quality. At least 1/4 have the following backmarks:Gilt Double Gilt Superior Rich Colour Treble Gilt Best Quality Best Plated Scovill Superfine Treble Gilt Rich Orange Waterbury Gilt Best Imperial Standard Gold Colour Made in England Warranted Treble Gilt E.R. Tale CT Wm. CleaverThere may be others that I missed when sorting through the lot. About one pound 6 ounces of buttons. I will combine shipping costs.On Feb-09-23 at 17:33:52 PST, seller added the following information:At least 115 buttons have backmarks, which is more than half of the lot.
