Mint Christensen Guinea Marble by Carl Fisher Up for bid is a gorgeous 23/32" handmade contemporary guinea marble designed by marble artist, Carl Fisher. This marble was fashioned after a Christensen guinea marble as show on Page 34, Row 1, Line B of Larry Castle and Marlow Peterson's book, Marbles: The Guide to Machine-Made Marbles Second Edition . This marble is brand new and is hand made from a new process of using a composite of glass and polymer clay. The colors are not painted on; they are pure clay and artistically formed to create the designs of each marble. Each marble is an individual work of art and no two marbles are alike. The weight is slightly lighter than that of a real marble, and it is warmer to the touch making it easily distinguishable from a real guinea marble.
