Up for auction are four beautiful blue and white toile transferware dessert plates. They will make a grand addition to an existing collection or give the beginning collector a jump-start! Included in this set are: "Country Life" by Myott, Ltd., Staffordshire , England . Marked with a hunt stamp in blue, it measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter. This plate has a single chip (1/8 inch) on the outer edge that cannot be seen, only felt. "Rusticana" by Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach, Germany . Marked with the older mercury (angel) stamp in teal, it measures 8 inches in diameter. This plate shows clear and sparce age crazing on the back only. "England's Heritage " by H. Aynsley & Co. Ltd., Staffordshire , England . Marked with a large crop and top hat stamp in blue, it measures 8 inches in diameter. This plate shows shaded age crazing on front and back. "Royal Homes of Britain" by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) , Ltd., Staffordshire , England . Marked with a unicorn stamp in blue, it measures 7 7/8 inches in diameter. This plate has a single flat chip (1/8 inch) on the outer edge that can only bee seen when held angled against the light. All four plates are without further flaws.
