Up for bids is a Slate Pendant found in Mercer county Ohio. It's 4" long, 1-1/2" wide, and only 3/16" thick(or less) This is a very thin Pendant made of Slate and bi-conicaly drilled. It has a twist to it, I tried to show it in the pictures. The bottom and right hand edges are worn very thin, almost sharp. Look at the top of the hole and you can see the use wear from suspension, this pendant was worn alot by the looks of the hole, the edge wear, and the scratches. I've had this Pendant for years and can't remember who's collection it came out of, I'll look thru all my notebooks again and post it when I find out. This is a very nice piece, take a good look at all 8 of the pictures I posted. Free shipping with buy-it-now in time for Christmas, great gift!!! I will be listing several authentic artifacts over the next few weeks and will guarentee them all to be 100% authentic with no modern re-touch for 14 days. (unless otherwise noted) All the history I have on each piece will be included with your purchase. Some I have extensive provenance on, others just the state and county w they were found. ALL the artifacts I list were LEGALLY obtained following all Federal and State guidelines and are either personal finds from private land with landowners permission or legaly obtained from very old collections. NOTHING I list is grave or cave read more
