4 Sun 7-Move KIRICHIGAI Japanese Secret Trick Puzzle Box Your are bidding on a Beautiful 4 Sun 7-move Japanese Secret Trick Puzzle box, also called "Himitsu-bako" (personal secret box). These specific boxes are handmade in Hakone, Japan by the skilled craftsman Mr. Goto . The Himitsu-bako profiles the marquetry technique known as " KIRICHIGAI " and is a mosaic of different geometric designs assembled in precise patterns by highly skilled traditional craftsmen. The box measures an impressive, (approximately 4 5/16 x 3 3/8 x 2 inches) and is new and in mint condition and was inspected for defects. It will also arrive still wrapped in it's original cellophane and directions straight from it's creators. The box can only be opened with successive moves of panels and keys to reveal the secret compartment within. Full of surprises and unique ideas, boxes such as these cannot be found anyw else in the world. It is said that the Secret Box was created in the late Edo period. Finely detailed and intricate woodcrafts, these unique boxes are useful l storage place for small items you don't want others to find. We will accept paypal, money orders, or cashiers checks.
