40's Hand Stitched Flower Garden Antique Quilt ~BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE FABRICS!This BEAUTIFUL cotton 40's grandmother's flower garden quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a nice green border.It measures 78" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with no spots or wear.There is quilting around the perimeter of each piece and in straight line designs in the border, all at an even 7-8 stitches to the inch.The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same green used in the interior, and the batting is thin. Whimsical novelty prints can be found in places.The maker "fussy cut" many of the fabrics, centering the fabric pattern (usually a flower) in the hexagon piece.NO SURPRISES with this vintage CLASSIC in GREAT CONDITION!See 500+ MORE antique quilts in my eBay Store!
