Up for auction are these 2 gallon petrol cans which are duplicates from my collection. I have acquired these with other rarer cans over the years and now it's time to have a clear out and make some room for the others in my collection. There are a total of 42 cans in this auction that vary from the early 1920's to the late 1950's and are in as found condition. As such, due to their age, I can not guarantee they will hold any liquid. Please see all the photo's as they form part of the description. All the cans have their correct brass caps and are as follows: 1 no. Redline; 1 no. National Benzole Co. Ltd.; 2 no. National Benzole Mixture; 3 no. Motor B.P. Spirit; 6 no. Pratts Perfection Spirit; 2 no. Pratts ( in circle); 4 no. Pratts (script type); 6 no. Esso; 6 no. Shell Motor Spirit; 3 no. Shell Aviation Spirit; 3 no. Shell Mex & B.P. Ltd. ( the following are not in photo's) 2 no. W.D. 1955; 1 no. S.M. and � B.P. (on ends only); and 2 no. plain cans. The starting price for this auction is a lot less than the cost of the brass caps alone and has no reserve. So they are ideal if you are just starting collecting or want to up cycle them.
