1/43 UAZ 469 A34 MILITARY USSR CCCP GAZ VAZ RAF MOSKVITCH ZIL JEEP ZISMade in the USSR in 1986 (stamped with date inside box flap), offered here is one 1/43 model of the Russian version of theLand Rover, Jeep, or a similar 4-wheel "go anywhere" vehicle. The medium blue color of this fine model does not suggest a military dedication, but similar vehicles were and are often pictured with Russian army forces.The UAZ - 469 is an off-road military light utility vehicle manufactured by UAZ . It was (and is) used by Soviet and other Warsaw Pact armed forces, as well as paramilitaryunits in Eastern Bloc countries. In the Soviet Union, it also saw widespread service in state organizations that needed a robust and durable off-road vehicle. Production of the 1:1continues, being 1971–present.The condition of this model is very good, as it has been packed back, in its original box, for several years after being part of a long-time collection. That collection is now being simplified. The box has some wear because of years of storage.
