I will be listing a series of original PHOTOGRAPHS and EPHEMERA tonight from the Estate of a WORLD WAR II Vet who was enlisted on the USS HAVEN NAVY HOSPITAL SHIP. The USS HAVEN was one of the first Allied Ships to reach NAGASAKI after the ATOMIC BOMB was dropped in order to provide assistance and relief to Allied POW'S of WAR as well as locals. Most of the Photos were taken in NAGASAKI and show the devastation left by the Bomb to the city and local residents they found in local hospitals. Many other photos show daily life on the USS HAVEN.
