Most sequences are filmed with a riveting over the driver's shoulder perspective or were filmed with cowl-mounted cameras as their cars at lapped full speed in various races. The pioneering filming techniques range from the earliest old 8mm and 16mm celluloid film to modern 35mm and then later day digital recordings all converted for a seamlessly modern DVD.
