This is a 51 piece set for 8 of the Romance 1952 pattern, which are marked Holmes & Edwards Inlaid I.S, DS. Everything comes in a red/burgundy case with red felt on the inside. The outside of the case is scuffed up and shows a beige color of material under the red covering, especially along the edges and the corners. Also one of the hinges is loose and will need one of those small metal rods to slid into the hinge. The silverplate flatware has been used, has the usual light scratch markings throughout, is a bit tarnished and could use a cleaning. All forks are sharp, no damage to the knives or tip of spoons. Only damage I see is one of the salad forks is dull looking. 16 teaspoons 8 salad forks 8 dinner forks 8 dinner knives 6 large soup spoons 1 larger serving spoon 2 large slotted spoons 1 butter knife 1 sugar spoon
