Up for auction are SIX OLD POSTCARDS OF SWEETWATER, TENN. AND OTHERS in original condition. The first is postmarked Aug. 1, 1911 and is a real photo of a man & two women sitting on a cannon. The second is postmarked 1914 and is of the Presbyterian Church of Sweetwater. The third is also postmarked 1914 and is of Sweetwater College. The fourth is postmarked 1914 and is of the Methodist Church of Sweetwater. The fifth card is postmarked 1915 and is of an East Tennessee Marble Quarry. The last one is postmarked 1913 and is of the Southern Depot, Sweetwater, Tenn. Each card show signs of age and wear: some wear to the corners and edges, some creases and the backs have darkened with the passage of time. These measure approx. 5 1/2" long and 3 1/2" tall.
