Please take a look.... I have listed other religious items. Today I offer you this beautiful and particular fabric to be used for religious vestments like chasuble, cope, chalice veil, etc. It dates probably from early 1960's and it has never been used. T is a pattern of a cross and censer. This is a vintage red silky satin damask fabric. THIS IS THE LAST LENGTH I HAVE FOR THIS FABRIC. I bought it from a very old nun convent near Quebec city that used to make religious priest vestments and church cloths and ornaments. The nun from who I got it is aged of 97 years old and said to me that she has been working all her life to do it. Because of her age and no one else to give her a hand to do the same job, the monastery has decided to sell all the remaining fabric items. I bought the entire lot of lace, silk for chasuble and many fabric ornaments. This piece measures 6 yards x 42 inches wide. The color is a rich red. It is in perfect condition.
