Description: As I've been putting up the last of the remaining items I want to sell, I came across this 910 gram lot of silver and gold plated ceramic fingers. They are being sold for scrap. The first two pictures show them with flash off/flash on. The actual appearance is in between, and more like pics 3 & 4. They look like they are incredibly high yield in gold, when in fact, they are quite the opposite . A rudimentary wet analysis puts the entire lot as containing between 0.5 - 1 grams gold and 2 - 2.5 troy ounces silver. In other words, the metal values lies between $60 - $85. There you have it. Name one other ebay seller who would tell the truth on an item like this. That being said, it would be unfortunate if someone would buy these and turn them around later as "high yield."
