Taxco 950 Silver Bracelet ~ Fred Davis Design Silver bracelet based on the 1935 Fred Davis Pre-Columbian swirl glyph design. A photo of the original piece was included in the book "Mexican Jewelry" by Mary Davis and Greta Pack. Fred Davis was an important and influential designer and collector of Mexican arts and crafts. His designs have a wonderful modern look and are highly sought after by collectors. The classic design, quality solid construction and use of 950 silver make a great combination. The 950 silver has a higher silver content than sterling giving the metal a bright white look....also less prone to tarnish. The piece was made in Taxco within the last 20 years, is hallmarked and weighs just over 3 ozs.
