I've compiled several compendiums to the 19th century's transferware designs. This paticular listing is for the transferware of Doulton, and it's predecessor Pinder, Bourne. The number of makers and patterns will keep rising as I add more, - which your CD will automatically pick up and include. Right t, is the main advantage of an interactive CD: You don't need to buy 'revised editions' to have an up-to-date copy: It automatically revises itself! The CD is actually a link to a remote site, so you don't need a very modern computer: As long as it's connected to the internet and a CD player, you'll have no problem accessing the database. Another advantage of presenting this work on a CD instead of a paper book, is that I can keep costs down. The large number of colour photographs would make a 'normal' book an expensive proposition, and would certainly read more
