Nippon Ewer For your bidding pleasure is a stunning example of fine early Nippon porcelain, decorated with irises and accented in heavy moriage. Early mapleleaf mark dates item to the late 1800's or so. Amazing attention to detail on this piece, from the twisting vinelike handle to the applied moriage. Item is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Light wear to gilding on handle. Possible loss of a couple of beads on uppermost portion of handle; no losses anyw else (an amazing thing given the way it was piled on). Couple of scuff marks on back side can probably be cleaned off. Overall a stunning piece that would be an asset to any collection. Item measures approx 7-1/4 inches (18.5 cm) in diameter. Postage (U.S.) is $9. International bidders please contact me. Good luck. Listing should say 7-1/4 inches (18.5 cm) HIGH, not diameter
