A. G. Russell Sting Ivory Micarta Scrimshaw Death Croc Fantastic Scrimshaw of Death, Executioner, Lady, and Crocodile!!! This is a rare ivory micarta model made in Solingen , Germany in 1977 âe" long discontinued!!!! This A. G. Russell Sting ivory micarta boot knife model (made in Solingen , Germany in 1977 ) has been long-discontinued and is now a collectible knife. This is a high quality knife made in Solingen , Germany for the A. G. Russell Co.. This is a double-edge knife with a mirror-polished blade and is hollow ground. The blade is 3 3/4" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 3/16âe thick. Overall length is 8" long. Blade is ink-etched âeoe A.G. Russell 1977 âe on the tang. The blade is ink-etched âeoe A. G. RUSSELL SPRINGDALE ARK. USA SOLINGEN GERMANY âe. This is an âeoeintegralâe knife, which means that it is machined from one piece of steel. The ivory micarta handle slabs have a thin red liner sandwiched between them and the steel handle. The scrimshaw work on this knife is absolutely fabulous! T is scrim work of an executioner with a large double-headed axe and a lady on one side of the handle. The scrim work on the other side is of âeoeDeathâe (or a Grim Reaper type character) holding two large dagger knives and a crocodile at his feet.
