A porcelain putto produced from the manufacture of Meissen, represented while bring an oval plate with a feminine profile on relief (Venus ?). It rests on a square base that brings, turned over on the posterior edge, the brand of the two swords in blue under glaze. Under the base t aren't engraved series numbers but an hardly visible sequence of signs are painted. It's difficult for me to establish a given precise dating of production but the position of the brand make think to me to period 1750/1765 but I gladly accept more authoritative opinions of mine. Unfortunately it is not in good conditions. It's lacking in the left arm and the little finger of the right hand and the head it has been glue to the neck. Measure approximately 4,7 inch Un putto in porcellana prodotto dalla manifattura di Meissen, raffigurato mentre regge un ovale recante un profilo femminile in rilievo (Venere ?) . Poggia su una base quadrata che reca ,capovolto sul bordo posteriore, il marchio delle due spade in blu sottosmalto. Sotto la base non sono impressi numeri di serie ma è dipinta una sequenza di segni appena visibile. Mi è difficile stabilire una data di produzione precisa ma la posizione del marchio e la provenienza dell'oggetto mi fanno pensare al periodo 1750 / 1765 ma accetto volentieri pareri più autorevoli del mio.
