What an elegant little ring - lots of markings on it. It is , I guess, a pinky ring as the size is about a 3. Has words "Academy of the Holy Cross" and 1975 and other words that I cannot make out. Heavy ring - marked inside "Joanne Carl" - Balfour Sterling". Some slight wear to inside of band but this is one really nice ring. I am told my local jeweler that the stone is an amethyst. Quality is very great here. If there are white dots, it is camera glare - please ignore that. I am only a poor pic taker. Most of my pics are over sized so you can see them better. Actual sizes are given in description. I COMBINE - SO BID ON MORE THAN ONE ITEM AND GET VERY LOW SHIPPING COST - I try hard to keep the cost down. I am not a world class photographer but I do try hard to get decent pics on - bear with me on that. .
