I recently purchased this item from well know antique sports equipment dealer Hammer Sports Relics. I have decided not to pursue this hobby so I am selling this incredibly rare 1890's quilted football pants. Here is your opportunity to own a one of a kind piece that rarely comes around. I have also included a Hammer Sports Relics Letter of Authenticity which includes it's value for insurance purposes.Up for bids is an amazing pair of circa 1890's early 1900's quilted football pants! As the photos show, the pants are in game used but very good condition! There are a few small holes but no major damage (see close-ups). The thick padded quilts have all their stitching and they are tight. All of the belt loops are present and firmly attached. There are 4 buttons that are firmly attached. One of them looks to be a replacement. It has a pocket sewn on the back right. They are a full adult size pair of pants. Here are the measurements Waist - 32" Inseam 19 1/2" Top to bottom 29". There is a makers tag on the inside of the waist but it worn down and unreadable. We added 3 scans (not included) of 1890's players wearing pants just like these.
