Adv:Victor Safe&Lock Co.,Cincinnati:Letter/Cover 1896Advertising cover, flyer and 2 letters from The Victor Safe & Lock Co., 283-9 Broadway and Blocks on 9th, Cheapside & Canal Sts., Main Offices on Corner of 9th & Broadway, Cincinnati, OH. President is Thos. S. Spivey, others are J. Wm. Johnson, W. C. Hattersley and W. E. Arnold. The cover has a picture of their company, cancelled with a diagonal Barry Cancel (F2 [1]), addressed to Peter J. B. Smith, Liverpool, NY. Inside t are Lock Instructions (Combination) for his safe, with instructions for changing the combination, a letter with a nice picture letterhead, giving instructions on how to unscrew the dial spindle, etc.. T is also a flyer showing one of their safes, which will be given away free if you sell 6 orders of safes between July and Sept., 1896. the No. 1 safe sells for $10.00 and $12.00. Good condition.
