TCHEROT – Tuareg Talisman – Mali Silver engraved, copper and brass pieces into the leather; beads. Cm. 7,5 x 9,6 (2.95" x 3,77") - gr. 74,5 (oz. 2.63) Old large talisman, beautiful work. The form of losaga refers to the female: it’s a talisman of fertility. It’s worn around the neck or as a decorative belt, carried both in life and on the head. The Tuareg are a Berber population that inhabits the center of the Sahara , known for being the most indomitable, marked by strong traditions of ethnic background. Tuareg is an Arabic word which means "without God", which is why they prefer to be called "Imazighen" which in Berber means "free men". TCHEROT - Talismano Tuareg - Mali Argento inciso, rame e ottone; cuoio; perline. Cm. 7,5 x 9,6 - gr. 74,5 Vecchio grande talismano, eccellente fattura. La forma a losanga fa riferimento al femminile; si tratta di un talismano di fertilit� . E' indossato intorno al collo o portato su cinture, sia alla vita che sulla testa. I Tuareg, una popolazione berbera che abita il centro del Sahara, sono famosi per lo spirito indomabile e per il forte senso delle tradizioni e di appartenenza etnica. Tuareg è una parola araba che significa i "senza dio"; per questo loro preferiscono essere chiamati "Imazighen" che, in berbero, segnifica "uomini liberi".
