African Tribal Baule Goli Hand Carved Painted Horned Mask, Ethnographic Art Vintage Medium Oval Baule Goli African Tribal Mask Hand Carved- Hand Painted Circular shape mask with protruding eyes, bared teeth and horns on top.The circular face represents the sun as a life-giving energy and the horns symbolize the great power of the buffalo. Traditional colors of black, red & white. 17" inches tall X 12 1/2" inches wide. This piece was acquired from an estate auction in Southern California. It's in Great Condition for OLD age - Some paint ware and the right "horn" was damaged and repaired - please see images. Best Offer Available!!
