This is an authentic Agnus Dei made by the Cistercian Nuns of St. Susanna in Rome, Italy. The Agnus Dei wax was blessed by Benedict XVI. I bought these from the nuns myself in Rome. I bought many and decided to share a few with others. This Agnus Dei is hand painted and hand made. The wax is pressed with the image of a lamb (Christ) and blessed, then inserted in the holder. This is a sacramental and one that should be kept in the home. This is a large item, about 4-5 inches high. Most Agnus Dei are very small. This is a very rare item, so only serious inquiries.
