This is Ailsa, she is my own unique design and is a single edition, exclusive to Ebay and direct from the artist.Ailsa is completely hand sewn, by myself, from a beautiful mauve coloured faux fur. She has natural white, German wool felt for the paws on her feet and I have hand sculpted and shaded her tiny toes. Her nose is hand stitched in black and she has needle and scissor sculpting around her face along with some shading. Ailsa has black glass eyes and is filled with polyester, steel shot in her tummy and limbs to give her a little weight and, of course, oodles of love. She measures approximately 4" tall and 3" sitting. She is wearing a 'beach gem' pendant wich I have hand painted with tiny flowers and she has a ribbon rosebud hairband.Ailsa has a cotter pin jointed head and thread jointed arms and legs. She also has a sewn in fabric tag and certificate of authenticity in a swing tag style. As I was born in Whitby in Yorkshire, I decided to give my bears a piece of Whitby jet to take with them to their new home. However, some of the bears prefer to go down to the beach and find their own treasures. So instead of taking a piece of jet with them these bears will have their very own 'beach gem' or fossil to take to their new hug.
