AK FRANCE PORCELAIN FOOTED FRUIT BOWL - STRAWBERRIES Up for auction is a gorgeous porcelain, footed fruit bowl. This piece carries a green backstamp of "AK (D) FRANCE" (see photo). The bowl sits on three gold gilted, scrolled feet, and stands approximately 3-1/4" high. The top rim measures approximately 8-1/2" across. The interior and entire outside perimeter of the piece have a gorgeous, handpainted display of strawberries, strawberry flowers and foliage. Additionally, t are faint floral displays in the background of the exterior done in blues and purples. The painting is done in subtle hues giving it a watercolor-like appearance typical of Limoges designs. This beauty is in excellent condition - free of any chips, cracks or crazing. The gold on the feet is also in very good condition. The gold around the top rim does show some mild signs of wear. A stunning piece - perfect for a summer fruit salad - for your porcelain collection! Insurance is required on this auction. Thanks for looking!
