Themodel is in the original box and packing. A DCC Socket is installed on the model - ready to accept the NMRA Compliant decoder of the buyers choice. We see that some detail parts are in the box ready for inapplication - The port hand rail will require restoration as it appears to be heavily bent - may require replacement via Walthers part catalogue. We test ran the model, and it is a good runner on test track. The ALCO RS-27 (specification DL-640) is a diesel-electric locomotive built by ALCO from December 1959 and October 1962. Only 27 examples were manufactured. With ALCO's introduction of the Century Series line, the C-424 (specification DL-640A) replaced the RS-27 in the builder's catalog. Among the original roads were the Pennsy (PRR becoming part of Penn Central), Soo, and the C&NW. Please allow $9 for insured FedEx domestic ground shipping. We can combine lots to save on shipping.
