This auction is for a 20 x 16 limited edition print of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface. This is print is number 77 of 99 (plus 3 artist proofs). The print is more of a manuscript as in commemorates the first words spoken from the surface of moon back to earth and the first words spoken from earth to a human on the moon. The exchange was the following: Buzz Aldrin - Apollo 11 LMP: “Contact light, OK, Engine stop.” Charlie Duke - Apollo 11 CAPCOM: "We copy you down, Eagle.” The print is signed by Aldrin and Duke between the inscription of the first words and their mission roles. The print is in excellent condition since I received it from RR Auction two COAs: one from the consignor along with an original of the consignment letter and the other from RR Auction. Prior to the auction, the document was pre-certified by Scott Cornish. Please contact me with any questions. Handling fees include insurance and delivery confirmation. All fees in this listing are for US domestic. I will consider shipping internationally, but bidders must contact me prior to bidding to discuss the shipping options. I will be travelling when the auction ends and I will ship upon my return on March 28.
