These 6 Alewine Pottery bud vases were purchased in 2001 at Alewine Studios in Gatlinburg, TN. They were made by Robert Alewine. One is stamp signed by Alewine, five have no signature. Picture 5- The bud vase is black, blue, gray and is 3" by 2". It has no chips or cracks. Picture 6- The bud vase is black, blue, gray and is very similar to #5, wider body. It is 3" by 3". It has no chips or cracks. Picture 7- The bud vase is black, blue, gray and is similar to #5 and #6, slightly smaller. It is 2 7/8" by 2 3/8". It has no chips or cracks. Picture 8- The bud vase is multi color strips of purples, blues, reds, grays, mottled blues. It is 3" by 2 1/2". It has a glaze mark where the glaze did not take during firing on the inside rim. It also has a crack starting at the rim, going almost all the way down to the bottom of the vase. You can see the chip and the crack in picture #9. This vase is signed by Alewine. Picture 10- The bud vase is reds, blues, purples, grays. It is 3" by 2 1/2". It has no chips or cracks. Picture 11- The bud vase is black, blues, grays. It is 2 5/8" by 2 3/8".
