Alexander 20" Older Pussy Cat Doll Blonde Hair Blue Eyes Up for auction is a 20 inch Pussy Cat Baby Doll made by Madame Alexander. The number on the end of her box is 5228, and she is dressed in a pink dress with matching pantaloons and has blue eyes and blonde hair. The markings on the back of her neck say Alexander 1965, but I believe this doll was made in the late 1970's or early 1980's. She is in very good condition and wears her original outfit, but is missing her hair bow. Her clothing is in good condition, and has no tears or stains, but her dress does have a few small pin holes (see photo #7). The elastic is not stretched out, and other than the pin holes, the outfit is in good condition. Pussycat comes from a smoke free environment and is still in her original box, with the tissue paper and cardboard inside. The tissue paper is faded, and the box is not perfect, but are intact. This doll was never played with or displayed, but has been in storage since she was purchased. This doll has good facial color and and her crier still works. She has aged gracefully, but does need a little cleaning up. She would be a welcome addition to any doll collection. Please feel free to E-mail any questions you have prior to bidding on this item.
