Alfonso Moretti mandolin with mother of pearl inlay and butterfly detail. This has really been through the wars! It looks like the neck broke at some point and it has been repaired (not particularly well) - see photos. Several mother of pearl inlay around the edges are missing. It's obviously been used as a purely decorative piece for a while as there is a metal loop at the top for hanging. There is a piece of paper tucked inside it with some details about the importer - think it may have been in an auction at some point, and the makers stamp is visible on the inside. No idea how old it is or about its history. Please look at the photos thoroughly before bidding. Am only listing this in the hope that someone out there wants this for some reason rather than just putting it in the bin!
