A stunning early example of the 130 mold, perfect bisque and wonderfully dressed. The face of this doll is beautiful. She has feathered brows that are so delicately painted, and tiny upper and lower thick painted lashes. The eyes are deep brown and seem to shine. They sleep and open with ease. Her bisque is pale, the cheek blush is soft, the lips are soft coral, and 4 tiny little teeth are set in her mouth. There is also a tiny dimple in her chin. I believe this doll is early out of the mold, her numbers as so deeply incised. On the back of the head the numbers are “130” “9. ½” and “+” . On the inside of each arm she is incised “+A 9. 1/2” , and incised on the inside of each leg is “9.1/2” . There is a little glue residue around the head from the wig. The wig has a new cap/pate but the hair is old. I don’t know what type it is. It looks right, especially with the French hat. The body is a marvel of sculpting. The doll has a muscular like shape to arms and she even has dimples on her elbows. The hands are perfect. They look real with fingernails, separate thumbs and dimples and lines to show fingers and palms. The legs are not quite wrestler style, but they are “healthy.” She has leather lined upper legs to protect the body from the thighs. Below the dimpled knees are the blue bands of her sox. The sox are waffled very deeply. You can feel the two raised straps on her shoes. The shoes are golden brown, and have heels. Also the bows of the shoes are very raised. Her shoes and sox are beautiful. The little pink dress is definitely old fabric and lace, but I think made for her in the last 20 to 40 years. It is wonderfully made with pleats down the bodice and trimmed with buttons. There is old lace at the neck, collar and hem. I love the belt with the metal buckle. The fabric is thin and soft. Her underpants are old, but they have a new nylon type thread tie. The French hat is lovely. I don’t remember where I got it, but it is vintage. The ribbons on the hat look very old. There are tiny little circles of bisque at the top of each arm. This is a part of the molding process. It is the way they were made. Both arms have the mold marks. I took her outside for some of the pictures. You can see our lovely sleet and snowy weather! I like to photograph in natural light. The bisque has a better true color without the flash. Listing for the 130 all bisque only. The Heubech I will list later. The boat is my Christmas ornament. No chips and no cracks to this doll. She is a beautiful example of Kestner quality.
