Up for Bid, comes a Vintage and Very Old issue of an "ALLYN" plastic model kit of the famous Passenger Airline Airplane the DOUGLAS DC-7. Issued back in the mid 1950's. The Original Box was numbered as # 913. The model has an unsurpassed "fit" unavailable even with today's computer technology.The plastic parts have an exceptional smooth finish, are sleek and fit beautifully together.Scale is 1:141 close to the 1:144 standard. All parts are complete excepting for the model's base and a missing propeller's blade. These can be located on Ebay. The 2 small screws holding the pylon's head to the plane's belly are installed on the main fuselage and included as shown in the pictures.Just unscrew them when you are ready to install the pylon to the fuselage. The original decal and instruction sheet are also included and in excellent condition.The decals represent the Douglas Home Logo and does show some yellowing but is in very good condition considering it's age.The colours on the decals are still vivid and bright. Box is not provided as it could not be found (still looking!) This model has been stored for well over 50 years.Several pictures
