This ALPS (Japan) 1959FORD AUTO TRANSPORT / CARRIER WITH FOUR 1959 FORD SEDAN CARS is in Excellent Plus original condition, in its original box. The 17-inch long (+ 3.75" rear ramp) tin toy has a number of minor paint abrasions. The cab’s tin bumper and grill are bright. The friction motor works well. The colorfully lithographed trailer has an upper deck that folds down manually, to load the cars. The lower deck ramp folds up and down. The four 5.25-inch long tin 1959 Ford sedans have friction motors (1 is not working). All of the rubber tires on the cab, trailer and cars are near mint, as are the tin wheels. The original box is virtually complete, but has small tears, holes punched in the lid and bottom, and minor crushing. This is a very nicely detailed car carrier.
