This is a "never used" 10-½ inch o.d. dinner plate with a hand-tinted N. Currier copper transferred lithographic scene in the well of the plate and hand-tinted floral accents on the lip. The plate titled " YOSEMITE VALLEY - CALIFORNIA" "THE BRIDAL VEIL FALL" is from a series of twelve (12) plate scenes depicting early Americana life. The plate is stamped in the center base with the title " YOSEMITE VALLEY - CALIFORNIA" "THE BRIDAL VEIL FALL" , N. Currier, B. Altman, and the Adams hallmark. We are offering the remaining plates of the series elsewhere on EBay. These plates were made exclusively for B. Altman, N.Y.C. by Adams of England. We acquired the twelve (12) plates from an estate sale in the early 1970's. Actual date of plate is much earlier. Excellent Condition: Vivid scenes and base stamp on opaque Staffordshire stoneware with no chips or cracks. Age related crazing and an occasional embedded minute particle typical of era stoneware. We accept payment through PayPal and usually ship, upon receipt of cleared payment, within 1-3 days via buyer-paid variable fee U.S.P.S. priority insured mail. Delivery date dependent upon location and Customs/Country regulations.
