Up for auction today is an American Flyer #22090 dual control 350 watt transformer. The transformer is in good used condition and it works great. This is the top of the line transformer produced by American Flyer from 1959 through 1964. It is equipped with two throttles that vary the power output and can be used to operate two trains at the same time. The transformer is protected by two manual reset circuit breakers. A special circuit prevents the automatic cvycling of the reverse units unless the on-off-on switches are used. The transformer was tested and it is in good working order. The controls opeate smoothly and provide variable voltage from 4 volts to 18 volts for track operation and 18 volts of constant power for the railroad accessories. As you can see in the pictures, the circuit breakers were tripped and they work as designed. The cord is original and is still pliable. The case shows only minor playwear and scratches but no cracks or damage. The metal base on the bottom is clean with the normal wear and tear marks and is in good condition. This is the behemoth of all American Flyer transformers and will provide the extra power you need to expand your A.C. Gilbert layout. Due to the heavy weight, shipping is $20.00 within the continental U.S. International shipping rate based on destination. If you do not have a Pay read more
