From the 1950's here is an American Flyer S Gauge #283 Chicago Northwestern Lines Steam Loco & Tender being offered as is for repair and servicing. The loco appears complete and all original with no breaks and some slight surface rust on the side rods. There is a smoke and choo-choo unit and a 4 position reverse unit in the rear of the cab. The loco is in need of a clean up but should quickly clean up to better than very good condition. The loco was bench tested, the reverse unit hangs up but with a tap on the tender the loco did run but poorly. The smoke unit did work. This original Gilbert loco is being offered totally as is for repair, servicing and clean up.
