Up for auction is an American Flyer O Gauge Train Set in Very Good Condition. According to the included catalog and layout pages; this is a Number 1 set that dates to before the War. It has a Cast Iron engine with Key Wind or Clockwork drive and two tin cars as well as eight pieces of track. The Original box is worn but still displays well and shows the set number on the end flap. The engine winds up easily, works well, and still has great color with some paint loss and light rust. The tender is marked 328 and the passenger car is from the Chicago line. Each has some scratches in the paint and a little deformation. There are six curved and two straight pieces of track that do need a little work. The engine is also missing one carrier wheel but comes with two extras for repair. I have seen individual pieces offered; some times even a couple; but never the entire set in the original box. A very rare find and one worth having. Shipping will be via USPS Priority to arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. Any Questions, please ask. Thanks for looking, Happy Holidays.
