VINTAGE AMERICAN FLYER TRAIN SET, S GUAGE THE FLYING FREIGHTER, Route of the 400 SET You are bidding on the exact locomotive set photographed here. This set was sold in 1956 as 5605T. All the couplings work on all the cars and all the cars roll just fine. All the brake wheels (only 1 in this set) are present. Here is a list of all the included items: # 355, the Baldwin Diesel locomotive. The locomotive is very lightly used and is in very good condition. The decals could be better. The headlight works. I tested the engine on a track and it runs well in forward and reverse. # 802. Illinois Central Reefer. The roof and ends of the car have been painted by a previous owner. Black trim was added around the doors and on the ladders. The paint job is actually pretty good in my opinion. # 804 Norfolk and Western Gondola # 806 Caboose . This car is missing one coupler and has the catwalk extension broken off on one end. Please use the photos to confirm that my evaluation of condition is in line with yours.
