AMERICAN FLYER LINES 307 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE Hello and Thanks for Visiting My Auction. This listing is for an American Flyer Lines Number 307 Steam locomotive with The Chicago & North Western Lines Logo. Atlantic (4-4-2). This nice Engine came from an estate auction which I purchased a while back. I put in on my test board and it ran forward and cycled to reverse nicely, but it is going to need a good servicing before putting her into service. Please go over it real good especially the E-Unit and preform the proper maintenance and she should be a real nice runner for your layout. The locomotive shows nicely with no paint loss that I can detect on the engine or the tender.This model was offered by American Flyer but came without the smoke and choo-choo. The locomotive and tender have molded plastic bodies. The tender mounted the four position reverse unit. Curiously though, the markings on the tender read C&NW Lines, but according to my reference books , they show the tender to read the Reading Lines so I am little puzzled on this one, but any event it looks good behind the engine.I will be happy to include the operating and maintenance instructions from my service manual for your ready reference to aid you with these procedures.This model has the knuckle coupler.
