This is an American Flyer #346 steam engine and tender. The unit is in very good condition, with no visible/apparent corrosion, and only minor nicks/scratches in the paint. I am not a collector, so I do not know how to officially rate its condition. The unit appears to be completely intact, with no missing parts or damaged parts, with the exception of the rubber on the locomotive wheels (missing or falling off on most of the wheels, see pictures above). Please note that I do not have the means to test this item to see if it operates, so I cannot say for sure if it is in working condition. Therefore, I am selling this item AS IS . I am selling my wife’s grandfather’s American Flyer train collection. We came across this set when we were cleaning out a storage area – these items have been in storage for at least 25 years. I am selling a total of 2 engines/tenders, 10 individual cars, and two accessories, so be sure to check my other auctions. All of my auctions are NO RESERVE!
