DESCRIPTIONUp for auction is the American Girl Josefina Doll in her original Meet Outfit with the Accessories Set. The Meet Outfit includes a Skirt that is Red with Flower Print, White Cotton Shirt / Dress, White Bloomers, Brown Woven Sash Belt, and Moccasins. The Accessories Set includes a Doll Necklace, Purse / Pouch, Coin, Handkerchief and Wrap. All of the clothing pieces have the Pleasant Company tag/label - like what can be seen in the scarf photos. When I found this doll she was in a display case (not included) and the previous owner said that she had been inside for a while - they had a large collection of Indian items (dolls and other items) that were being downsized. Josefina is wearing a pair of "gold" hoop earrings. She is in very good, clean condition with no spots or issues noted with the doll. I would say that her hair was either accidently or intentionally unbraided then redone by the previous owner but they did not put a tie at the end - I added a tie to hold the braid in place and found the yellow flowers from original hairdo in the purse/pouch. The shoelaces have deteriorated some from age and new owner may want to fix/replace. The white cotton shirt/dress has a darker spot on one side (see last photo) - covered by the skirt - which I have left for the new owner to clean if desired.
