I purchased this featd and beaded American Indian war bonnet about 25 years ago along with other very authentic Native American Indian replica artifacts, so I know it is not an Asian copy. It was stored away for a number of years until I brought it out for my then 6 th grade daughter to wear while being video filmed for a school project. That would have been almost 20 years ago, and then it was repacked. I have had it one display in a showroom over the last couple of years. Aside from the short videotaping, it has never been worn. These bonnets usually retail for at least $300.00, but I am offering it at a very low starting bid. As I recall, it was represented as authentic Native American made, but I have no documentation to that effect and t is no signature. The many feathers are attached to a leather "skull cap" with white leather lace and wrapped in red wool. The beaded band in front has a round beaded "rosette" on each side.
