You are bidding on a large Beautiful New American Indian Wide Ruins Navajo Rug 41” wide and 64” long. It is very heavy and is reversible with the same beautiful geometric pattern on both sides. The design pattern gives it the appearance of a rug within a rug. The colors are very vibrant in shades of red, gray, brown, black, green and white as shown in the photos. Wide Ruins rugs are characterized by very fine tightly-spun yarns and a flat even weave. This is a beautiful example of fine artistry by weaver Leonard Sam. The rug will be folded and boxed for shipping.
