PLASTER MODEL OF AMPHIOXUS CELLULAR DEVELOPMENT by EDWARD GERRARD & SONS, 61 COLLEGE PLACE, LONDON NW{Natulalists & Taxidermists} No 25 - VERTICAL SECTION This is No.25 from an original set of 26 The third picture is actually from model no 26. The makers name does not appear on any of the other models - this was often the case and I can confirm that these are all from the same set. Edward Gerrard, (not tobe confused with T. Gerrard, his son) Traded from the above address between 1901 and 1935! These models look to be from about 1910. Unfortuneately there are three missing from the original set, so I have decided to offer these models as individual items. These are so spoecial and so rare that the prospective buyer has the opportunity to buy how ever many he or she wants! Maybe theres a collector out there trying to complete a set?These models are beautifully hand-painted and mounted on a black lacquered turned wooden pedestal Condition: Excellent, a few small superficial chips - very unusual to find plaster model of this age in such good order!
